The
Streamlined Sales Tax Program The
response of the states to losses of sales tax revenue
on Internet commerce was to band together in the
Streamlined Sales Tax Project (SSTP).
The
SSUTA Amnesty In
October, 2005, the member states of SSUTA offered
a sales tax amnesty program to unregistered businesses
that voluntarily registered to collect sales tax
in all member states.
SSTP
Certification US tax software provider Taxware announced in April, 2006, that it had earned certification from the states that are members of the Streamlined Sales Tax Governing Board.
